The waves in Ahangama and along the South Coast of Sri Lanka are so much fun! They are perfect for beginners and intermediate surfers, but you can (of course!) find great surfing for advanced surfers too.

Some surf highlights:

  • Our camp is right across from Kabalana Beach (“The Rock”), a famous surf spot.

  • Within 30 minutes north or south, there are around 12 surf spots, including reef breaks, beach breaks, and point breaks.

  • Waves are generally fun and manageable, making it a great destination to learn, practice, and improve your surfing skills.

What surf equipment do I need to bring?

You don’t need to worry, the camp provides all essential surf equipment:

  • Surfboards: Use ours to try different sizes, or bring your own if you prefer a familiar board.

  • Other gear: Rashguards, leashes, and other necessary equipment are included in your surf lessons.

  • Must-bring personal items: Swimwear, sunscreen, and any personal items you like while surfing.

This setup ensures you can focus on the waves and have fun without overpacking.
