The easiest way to reach our Nicaragua surf camp is to fly into Augusto C. Sandino International Airport in Managua and take our transfer.

From the airport, it’s a scenic 3–4 hour drive to camp.

What day should I arrive in Nicaragua?

We recommend arriving in Managua by Monday afternoon (or earlier) to catch one of our transfers.

If your flight lands late or you want a smoother start:

  • Arrive Sunday evening

  • Stay overnight at Best Western Las Mercedes Airport Hotel

  • Join the Monday morning transfer well-rested and ready for waves

Is the airport transfer included in my surf camp booking?

No, the transfer is not included in the base price. However, we offer scheduled airport pickups and drop-offs every Monday as an optional add-on. You can book this during checkout when purchasing your trip or contact customer support to add it later.

Arrival:

The first transfer departs at approximately 9:00 AM from either the hotel or airport, with a second transfer available in the afternoon around 4:00 PM, departing from the airport.

Departure:

For departures, there is a transfer leaving the camp around 1:30 AM, and another one in the morning at approximately 7:30 AM

Important Notes:

  • Schedule: The Monday transfer service is fixed. If you arrive or depart on any other day, your transfer must be adjusted with the Camp. Please note that the price for the transfer remains the same regardless of the day.

  • On-Site Payments: If you only purchase a one-way transfer online and decide to add the return while at the camp, the price will be 80 EUR + 15% VAT. We recommend booking the return in advance to avoid the additional tax.

Pickup happens either:

  • Directly at the airport

  • Or outside the Best Western hotel (if you stayed overnight)

What if I arrive in Nicaragua outside the Monday transfer times?

If you arrive or depart on any other day, your transfer must be adjusted with the Camp. Please note that the price for the transfer remains the same regardless of the day.

How does departure from the surf camp work?

We offer two return transfers from camp to Managua airport on Mondays, timed for international flights.

  • Night transfer: leaves around 01:30

  • Morning transfer: leaves around 07:30

Both are planned to match common departure times.
