Yes, you can absolutely reach the camp by your own transport, but we recommend our transfer service for the smoothest, stress-free start to your surf trip.

If you’re the adventurous type or planning a longer Central America trip, going solo can be a fun option. Just know that the final stretch to camp is a bit off the beaten path.

By public transport

You can find all the information about public buses in Nicaragua and the connections between Nicaragua and Costa Rica HERE.

Another option would be this TRANSFER which connects Nicaragua to Costa Rica, El Salvador, and more countries, with a stop in Chinandega (around 30 min from the camp).

By rental car

If you prefer to rent a car for the trip, we recommend Alamo.

Note: If you choose to rent a car, opt for a 4X4 with ground clearance and consult the camp beforehand to check current accessibility.
