Q: I haven't made a booking yet, and now I am afraid of doing so, what are my rights in relations to the COVID-19 virus and traveling with Lapoint?


A: We offer free cancellation and free rebooking up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. Just send an email to info@lapointcamps.com and our customer care team will sort it out for you. You do not need a special reason for cancelling and you do NOT need to add our cancellation insurance for this.


If you wish to be able to cancel closer to arrival (up to 24 hours prior to your arrival date) you can add our cancellation insurance (which is something that we strongly advise).


Q: Generally speaking, what does Lapoint offer for customer who already have a booking:


A: Lapoint offers free rebooking or free cancellation up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. We can help you to reschedule your trip to a new destination or new dates within the next 12 months. If you do not know when you are able to travel again, we can offer to remake your booking into a gift card which is valid at all camps for two years.


Q: I want to keep the dates but change the destination. Is that possible?


A: Absolutely, that is no problem at all as long as there are available spots at the destination you wish to change to. Please note that if the new destination is more expensive than your original destination you will be asked to pay the difference.


Q: I want to cancel my trip. What do I need to do?


A: If you have bought Lapoint´s cancellation insurance you can cancel your trip until 1 day prior to departure by sending an email to info@lapointcamps.com. Cancellations after arrival date are not considered valid.


If you do not have Lapoint´s cancellation insurance we still offer free cancellation up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. Send your cancellation request to info@lapointcamps.com and our customer care team will sort it out.


Q: My flights got cancelled but there is no travel restrictions to the country


A: We can help you to change the dates of your trip if your flight is cancelled, as long as it is 7 days prior to arrival. We also advise you to contact the flight company or your private insurance company for more information.


Q: I am in quarantine and can not travel


A: We offer free cancellation and free rebooking up to 7 days prior to your arrival date. Just send an email to info@lapointcamps.com and our customer care team will sort it out for you. If it is closer than 7 days until your arrival date and you do not have our cancellation insurance we recommend you to contact your private insurance company.


Q: I am in quarantine at destination/camp 


A: The camp will accommodate you as best as possible, follow advice from staff and local health authorities, contact your private insurance company.  As long as we have space and are open for business you are very welcome to extend your stay with us for an additional room cost.
