ARRIVAL at San Jose airport  (SJO) Juan Santamaría International Airport

Option 1 

We recommend that you arrive in San Jose the night before you need to be at the camp or super early in the morning on Monday. The reason for this is that it takes around 6-7 hours to get to the camp from San Jose. If you decide to arrive on Monday make sure you do so before 06.00 AM as the last transfer leaves San José at 08:00 AM and there are no afternoon transfers.  

You can book the transfer with us when you book your camp or you can add it later. We pick you up from Holiday Inn next to SJO airport at 8:00 AM. Most of our guests choose to stay there before they get to the camp. But you are free to stay at any airport hotel and then meet us at Holiday Inn to join our transfer.

Option 2 

You can choose to fly from San Jose to Cobano airport which is a domestic airport approximately 30 minutes from the camp. You will have to arrange this yourself and it is more expensive than taking the transfer but it works very well if you are short on time. We can help you to arrange a pick-up at the airport in Cobano which is about 60 USD/person. 

DEPARTURE

We can help you to arrange a transfer back to the airport in San José. Our transfer leaves the camp around 9 am on Monday. As it is a 6-hour drive, you will arrive at the airport in San José around 3 pm so if you are flying out on Monday we recommend that you book a late afternoon or night flight. You can also book one night in San José and then fly out on Tuesday instead. You can book this transfer while at the camp.
