The Surf in Costa Rica is great all year round. During the high season we surf at the beach closest to the camp called Playa Carmen, the beach is located only a few minutes walk from the camp. This spot is suited for both beginners and more intermediate surfers. You can also go for a free surf outside the lessons, just grab a board and head on down and keep practising.

During the wet season, we usually head to a beach called Playa Hermosa, located a short drive away from the camp. This spot gets great waves during that time of the year. A great spot for both beginners and intermediate surfers.

If you book our surf package all equipment is included in the price. If you are used to surfing a specific board we do recommend that you bring your own board if possible so you get to surf the board you want, you can of course use our equipment as well throughout your stay to try out different sizes. If you book our only stay package you can rent equipment from us while at the camp. Contact our Customer Care team for more information.
