The camp is located right across from the beach and the famous surf spot called “The Rock”, Kabalana Beach. The south coast is filled with amazing surf spots. There are around 12 different surf spots within 30 min south or north of the camp. What’s unique about Ahangama is that you have both reef breaks, beach breaks and point breaks. Sri Lanka is the perfect place for beginners & intermediate surfers. 

We have all the equipment that you need at the camp so just make sure to bring swimwear and sunscreen and you are good to go. We do recommend that you bring your own board if you have one and if you want to surf something similar, just to make sure you get to surf the board you like. You can of course use our boards as well to try out different sizes depending on the waves.
