Bali is a great island to travel solo. You are guaranteed to meet other solo travellers during your journey around the island. Bali has been a favourite amongst the backpackers and solo travellers  in Asia since the early 80's. There are a lot of famous places to see like waterfalls, rice fields and temples. Getting taxis is super affordable so it’s easy to travel around the island. 

There are a lot of hostels and home-stays in Bali where you can stay and meet new people. The people living in Bali are super friendly and will help you out with directions or where to stay and most people speak English so it's easy to communicate.
