The coastline of Alentejo is known for its high-quality waves and consistent surf with plenty of options for surfers of all surf levels. During the summer months, we mostly have mellow, beginner-friendly waves. During the spring and autumn, the waves get a bit bigger but are still suitable for all levels.

There are a variety of beginner-friendly surf spots close to our camp such as Aviaidos, Vierinha, and Sao Torpes. The nearest beach is 30 minutes walk from the camp and the beach that we are surfing at is 15 min drive from the camp.

We will provide you with all the necessary equipment for the surf lessons, which include a surfboard and a wetsuit. The temperature in the South of Portugal is a bit higher, but you still need a 4/3, 3/2 wetsuit to feel comfortable in the water.
